Shooting Near my Home

Today, this upset me. In my neighborhood, an ex-employee of a truck rental company wondered into his old place of employment and shot five people, killing at least two of them. My guess is more will probably die. Apparently he was methodical and shot most of them in the head.
Frankly, I'm greatly depressed by the upsurge in crime and plain brutality that seems to be seeping into society as of late.

ohhh... that is so sad and scary. Some people are sure out of mind and can't handle the disappointments easily. But why taking others' lives???

I totally agree Lena! There is no excuse.

I'm reading a book about the tragedy at Columbine from years back. No matter how they try to explain it, there's really no good explanation for why people do something like that.

John,
That must be a hard book to get through. I remember when the Columbine shooting happened I had been out of High School for a year, and I was just in shock that something like that could actually take place in a school.

Such a tragedy. I can never condone taking another human's life. Unless it is in self-defence. This is sad.

Oh that's so sad...read about it. :( And so close to home makes it worse...what is the world coming to?!

Roshan,
I agree.

Psych,
I know, I've been thinking about that a lot lately. So many robberies and shootings going on recently in my area.
