Mick Jagger Chants With Buddhist Monks In Laos

Luang Prabang, Laos -- Mick Jagger took some time far out of the spotlight with a recent trip to Luang Prabang, Laos. According to a new report from Britain's The Sun, the Rolling Stones legend sequestered himself in a hotel for a period of deep meditation.

"Mick booked two rooms in the hotel - one for himself, the other for his luggage," a source close to the singer told The Sun. "His room boasts the best view overlooking the mountains and Phousi Temple. But he then blacked out all the windows, even though the hotel is in a remote location and away from prying eyes. He clearly wanted to be at one with himself."

The source adds: "Mick used the trip to regenerate himself. He spent hours with monks in the temples and chanted with them. He practices Buddhism and meditation every day. He says it's the first thing he does when he gets up in the morning."

In the meantime, rumors continue to circulate that the Stones are planning their farewell tour. In a recent interview with Le Parisien, drummer Charlie Watts says the band will hit the road as soon as Mick and Keith Richards are up for it.

"We will resume playing whenever Mick and Keith get bored. At the moment, they're having a good time," Watts said.

RIP-Lola the Mouse

Remember Lola? She was a cute little mouse that came into my life about a year ago.

Yesterday she had to be put down-- ending her suffering from an aggressive form of cancer.

Poor Lo, I'll remember her fondly.

Exciting Changes

This summer has been so crazy! I started a new job in April (which I LOVE) by June, I had just finished 3 months of serious training when I found out that I was 7 weeks pregnant!

After that, the next couple months were kind of a blur. No energy, and nauseous pretty much all of the time.

Now, I am almost 19 weeks along and feeling so much better! My hubby and I are so excited; we cannot wait for our little one to get here! We went in for an ultrasound last week and found out that we are having a boy! Here's his first picture! :)

Now, I want to promote a small business that I've started.

I opened yesterday, so far I have one piece in my shop, but I will be adding more as time allows. I know a lot of you are on Etsy as well, if you could, add me as one of your favorite shops! I will go in and find you as well! :)

I'm excited about this! Hoping to use my free time to create, and add more to my little shop!

Very sad. He was a special person and his music touched so many people.
