  US President Abraham Lincoln Suspends Habeas Corpus (1861)In law, habeas corpus is a writ ordering that a person be brought before a judge, especially to decide whether a prisoner's detention is lawful. Its suspension means that prisoners can be held indefinitely without being charged. During the US Civil War, President Lincoln suspended habeas corpus to arrest and silence Southern dissenters. Aww, I just went back to see what you plated ~ Sunflowers! My parents grew some in their backyard. I don't know what type of dirt they have, but this sucker was more like the Jolly Green Bean Stalk! The flower that bloomed was huge! I have a picture of it on my blog, somewhere in the depths of my posting. They are beautiful plants. This year I planted from seeds - Morning Glories. Isn't it wonderful to see them grow?
Can you come take care of my flowers? Mine look sad :(

Hi, I am a guide dog raiser in Seattle, WA. The puppy I am currently raising is named Shep. I love your blog and I love reading about other people's pet experiences experiences.
