Looking Forward to Tonight!

So much so that, in fact, I'm wearing a dress today! My co-workers are shocked and awed that I actually "have legs." lol I just might start wearing dresses more often. I feel rather cute.

Anyway, back to my point, which is--I'm going to see Counting Crows tonight!!

As many of you know, they are one of my most favorite bands, and a continued source of creative inspiration. I've written about them here, a lot.

Last year, I even saw them from the front row! I took lots of pictures, and had planned for so long to write about it, but, life got in the way, and I never did. Then this morning I had a brilliant idea, I was going to start my much anticipated (I say that with a grin because I'm the one that has been doing the anticipating) music blog with this post. However, there was a foil in my plan---all but one of my pictures from the show are on my computer at home, so it was a no-go!

Instead I wrote this lovely post, which I'm sure conveys my giddiness about this evening. :)

Enough about me, what concerts have you seen recently? Any in the future you are looking forward to?

The last big show I saw was the reunion tour by The Police back in 2007. However, I have seen some decent local bands lately.

By the way, you are not alone. I am anticipating your music blog too!

Last concert I saw was Journey, Heart and Cheap Trick. It was like going back in time. Except we were all so much older, ha ha.

I hope you had a wonderful time!

Last concert: Davy Knowles & Backdoor Slam, next concert: Davy Knowles & Backdoor Slam. Can never get too much of a good thing.

I'll see U2 on 10/25

Malcolm,
ooh the Police! Lucky you!
2007, though? You need to go catch a show once in a while! Aw, and thanks for saying that you are awaiting my music blog too! I'll have at least one reader!! :)

Arv,
I had an awesome time! One of the best shows I have ever seen--more to come later! :)

Vixen,

Paticus,
Awesome about your over night music selection! I haven't stopped listening to them since! The show was amazing! :)

Hmmm. My favorite music is the kind I make with friends. I'm no great shakes as a musician, but producing music (as contrasted to listening to it) is similar to the difference between watching someone eat a delicious meal and eating.

I see that, for sure, Dan. :) For me, I get that same type of feeling by being at a great show surrounded by others that are feeling the music as much as I am. This particular show was incredible in just that way.
