Happy New Year!

Happy New Year 2009

I used to be one of those people that made a long list of resolutions to prepare for the new year. I would stick by them all, diligently, for a month, at the most, and then beat myself up for the rest of the year for not following through with any of them.

Something changed for me this year! I realized that everyday, in fact, every moment is a chance for a fresh start. I seem to get more accomplished, learn more about me, and am overall quite happier when I allow myself to start fresh everyday, not just every year.

Don't get me wrong I'm very excited about the new year, just like I am about everyday! I can't wait to see what opportunities are going to unfold!

I would like to wish all of you a very happy, healthy, and wonderful 2009!

Hey Jessica,

I thought of you tonight while watching Jane Velez Mitchell do an entire show on dogs...exposing puppy mills, segment on service dogs, shelter dogs, etc.

Have a great year (things have to get better for everyone, don't they??!!)

great to see you are being so wise :P
i mean happiness should not start with the new year, it should start each new day, just like you said :)

Happy New Year still ;)

Happy New Year to you Jess! I don't go for New Year's resolutions either. I figure that I don't need to wait until the New Year to start doing something I should be doing already.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I believe every day is the first day of the rest of my life so I never make them either and really try to throughout the year to make the most of every day and never, never stop learning..:)

Hi Carmen,
Thanks! Hope you are enjoying 2009! :)

Jennifer,
Thanks! :)I'm sure you will keep them! I saw that you posted about your resolutions, and I haven't had a chance to read it yet. :/ I'll try to stop by soon.

Hi Lena,
Thanks! :)Well said! Love your new pic!

Malcolm,
Thanks so much! :) For me, focusing on changing my life in big ways all at once and sticking to it was overwhelming, and pretty discouraging. I agree with your philosophy too!

Hi John,
Thanks, you too! :)

India,
Thanks! I am SO with you on that! :)

Mike,
Aw, thanks! :) And I wish the same for you!
