A Quick Question

Have you heard about the gas shortage that is going on in my region of the country?

That is before I told you...LOL.

Scary things are happening in America, and the lack of media coverage about this situation is just one of them.

I forget, what region do you live in? *smiles*

Though I have heard of gas shortages in Tennessee and was shocked by it. Suppposedly this happened when a run on gas happened after the fear of Ika taking out the industry.

We have gas shortages before and after a hurricane (mostly before), but that's because everyone and their brother, sister, aunt, uncle, friend, etc. is tanking up to get out of Dodge.

Hi Aleta,
I live in Georgia--the South!
Glad at least you heard about TN.
Oh,yes...I guess you are used to it living in a hurricane haven. LOL

It caught my attention because I have driven from Chattanooga thru Atlanta many times, and recognized some of the towns. Is there still a shortage?
Living on the coast now, I'm so conscious of having a full tank of gas, in case I need to get out of the way of a hurricane.

Gary,
I'm worried...I feel like "we" the people of our country are being stripped of our power. :(

Sherry,
Yep, still a shortage...hopefully it will get back to normal soon.

Hemu,
understandable! :)

No, I hadn't heard about it. The lack of media attention is scary and disappointing.

Malcolm,
It really is!

We just FINALLY saw media coverage on the gas shortage in Atlanta last week. I find it unbelievable that the media is willing to cover ridiculous nonsense OVER and OVER, but fails to tell the public really important stuff!

Hope,
Yeah it's pretty crazy. it was such a big issue here, and I think an important one. Gas shortages like that don't happen often, and with the other stuff going on here..I think all Americans should have been aware of it.
