Good choices. A few others like Coppola, Kubrick, and Lean come to mind ... but I enjoy David Fincher's work more than anyone else's.
Fight Club wins top prize, but his work in everything from Se7en to Zodiac and from Panic Room to The Game rocks.

David Fincher is good. Although, I have to say fight club is one of the only movies that I've seen that left me very disturbed. And I'll watch anything...nothing really bothers me. But I guess me being bothered is not necessarily a bad thing...he did his job well.

ha...I had to-too for the longest time after seeing Psycho. Dial M for Murder was the first Hitch flick I saw.
