Monday, Movie Recommendations, and Music

I know it's Monday, but I'm really feeling pretty good. And I'm planning on taking advantage of this Monday happiness and using it as a motivator for the rest of the week!

I've seen a couple of movies recently that I want to recommend.

First, Pineapple Express-if you want to laugh continuously for 2 hours than go see this movie. If you want something with a deeper meaning than this flick is not for you. It is the funniest new movie that I've seen in a long time. These actors are amazing...the fact that they can take stoner jokes to a new level, and keep people who are not high entertained for the entire film, pretty talented.

Next, Bringing Up Baby-All I have to say is when you mix Cary Grant, Katharine Hepburn, and a Leopard(which looks strangely like a cheata) fun ensues! A wonderful movie from 1938 that still holds up today. I always love Cary Grant, and Katharine Hepburn does an amazing job too.

Enough with the movies, on to another topic: Music!
As many of you know, I love music. It doesn't matter what type...I'm pretty much open to it all. There is a mood for everything.

So, I've added an iPod widget, on my sidebar, with five songs. It's a sampling of what I'm listening to, and I'm going to change the songs every week.

Check it out! :) You feed readers too, please.

Happy Monday!

Thanks for the movie recommendation. Maybe, if the temp agency doesn't give me work tomorrow I'll entertain myself with your suggestion.

You ask yourself: "Who was the best all-time most handsome and smooth and talented actor?"
a) Peter O'Toole
b) Tony Curtis
c) Gregory Peck
or
d) Cary Grant

ding ding ding! Cary Grant wins!

I have yet to see "Bringing Up Baby". However, TCM is showing it on Sat Aug 30th as part of their all-day tribute to Katherine Hepburn. I've got it marked on my mental calendar to finally check it out. Thanks for the recommendation.

As I type this, I am listening to your iPod widget. It's got one of my favorite songs, "Break My Stride". It's funny; last night I had the strangest dream that I would be visiting your blog and you would have this song on your widget.
