All I'm sayin' ... is why haven't I heard of the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival before now? Fun, fun, fun!! I'm so there. :)

  Volvo Car Company Founded (1927)In 1924, Assar Gabrielsson, sales manager at the Swedish ball-bearing manufacturer SKF, and engineer Gustaf Larson decided to build an automobile that could withstand Sweden's rough roads and harsh climate. Their first car—nicknamed "Jakob"—rolled off the line on April 14, 1927, which Volvo considers its founding date. The following year, they created a truck that was immediately popular and contributed to the company's early success. The name Volvo is Latin, not Swedish, and means what? More... Discuss |

I wish I was going. It'd be worth it just to see Robert Plant and Allison Krauss (way better than seeing a Zeppelin reunion that would just be a sad facsimile of their former selves), but there are so many other great artists: Death Can, Sigur Ros, Robert Randolph, Mastodon (heavy, heavy, heavy), Against Me, Sharon Jones, Solomon Burke...What a list.
Yeah,I agree about the Zeppelin thing! I'm so excited there's such a great lineup. :)
Bonnaroo is great-he mix of music is always fantastic! And you won't believe the atmosphere!
